Pubs & Restaurants Reopening Soon

The hospitality sector is due to reopen soon and the preliminary dates have been released for bars and restaurants. If you are planning to reopen it is important to ensure you have the capacity available outside for all your customers.

When are pubs and restaurants re-opening in England?

From 12th April pubs and restaurants will be able to serve customers outdoors. Food and alcohol will be allowed for groups of up to six people from different households. Two households can meet in a group of any size. Prepare your venue to reopen my maximising your outside space. On 17th May the rules change once again and venues will be allowed to seat customers indoors. Again, groups will be a maximum of six people OR two households can meet to form a group of any size. Groups seated outside must be under 30 people.

If all goes to plan on 21st June all restrictions will be lifted and nightclubs will reopen. It is important to note that this all depends on the governments four tests being met. This includes the vaccine rollout going to plan and hospital admissions remaining stable.
